Alpine Hut Holiday in the Gastein Valley at 1.808 m<\/h3>\n

High up, near the tree line at an altitude of 1.808 m Seeh\u00f6he you’ll find our high alpine hut open to the public. Well-preserved, amid lush alpine meadows. The hut is over 150 years old and offers keen hiker and mountaineers a lovely spot for a well-earned rest or overnight stay. The tranquility, far away from the hustle and bustle down below is simply blissful.\u00a0 Fortify yourself with home-made produce<\/a> and regional delicacies. Particularly in the evening, if you stay overnight, peace and quiet descends. Savour enjoyable hours by candlelight – there’s no electricity up here.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”abstando20p”]<\/p>\n

Quaint alpine hut in Dorfgastein with a welcoming atmosphere<\/h3>\n

As there is no lift nearby, our alpine hut is far away from the crowds and we are pleased to see every guest who makes it up here. Spend a few days at our alpine hut and undertake lovely alpine hikes and mountain tours from here. You’re welcome to watch over our shoulder while we work. Accommodation at our Pr\u00e4au-Hochalm hut<\/h3>\n

In the evening the hut owner’s wife cooks regional specialities and in the morning you’ll be pampered with a tasty alpine breakfast (all our own produce). There’s hot water for showering. A barbecue and children’s play are also available.
